Butterfinger Truffle Chocolate Balls
A. MA. ZING!!!!!
Everybody at the party wanted this recipe. It was one of the easiest recipes I've ever made. You will WOW every guest who tries them and look like a gourmet, too. These things are so good. Plus, its nice to have something a little bit different to bring or present at a party. I'm not knocking the usual goodies like chocolate chip cookies, brownies and rice krispie treats because I enjoy them probably more than anyone. But these awesome butterfinger truffle chocalate balls are the BOMB!
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon + 1 teaspoon milk
1 1/4 cups flour
1 cup crushed Butterfinger bits
8 ounces chocolate like Dolci Frutta or CandiQuik (I used Dolci)
Any kind of sprinkles!
Directions
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar. Add the vanilla, salt, and milk and mix all together. Slowly beat in the flour. Stir in the Butterfinger bars by hand.
- Roll the dough into about 35 truffles. Refrigerate 20-30 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate according to the package directions. Dip the truffles into the chocolate covering the whole truffle. Set on wax paper and top with chocolate sprinkles. Let set and they enjoy!
